What if my GI Bill check is delayed and I needed money for school related expenses?

The school has an Emergency Loan Program. You can borrow up to $1,000 with zero percent interest rate. They will usually give you at least a month to pay the loan. In some case, the school will automatically deducted the amount from your GI Bill, if not, you go to cashier office and pay for it before the due date. The Emergency Loan Program application is available in 1st floor Warren Hall. It's in one of those rounded flyer holders. If you want to borrow up to $1,000, make sure you also filled up the emergency loan appeal. So, you have two forms to fill up. The form will have question that asked you the reason why you are borrowing, and just answer like it is: My New GI Bill check is delayed and I need to pay for food, rent, etc...After you submitted the forms, it would take at least two days before you can pick up the check in the cashier office. Most of the time, they will approve you. The school, especially President Qayoumi really supports military veterans. Good luck!
