Operation Welcome Home Assistance

The California Department of Veterans Affairs Operation Welcome Home helps California veterans connect with the employment, education, housing, and health benefits and services they have earned.

How You Can Help

• Educate others
Talk to club members and other students about Operation Welcome Home
and how it helps California veterans and their families.

• Encourage contact
Persuade veteran club members, students, family members, friends,
and neighbors, to register on the Operation Welcome Home Web site.

• Promote the program
Post an Operation Welcome Home article in your club or campus
newspaper, newsletter, blog or Web site.

• Host an event
Contact Operation Welcome Home and ask how your club can host a veteran information event on campus.

• Hang it high
Get permission from campus administration to hang Operation Welcome
Home posters in your school library, cafeteria, student activity center or other
location.

• Distribute information
Contact Operation Welcome Home and request program brochures.
Distribute them on campus.

• Link up
Post an Operation Welcome Home link on your campus or club Web site.

• Share the App
(Coming Soon) Get the FREE Operation Welcome Home App and share it
with others.

• Network
Send the Operation Welcome Home link to your Twitter, Facebook,
MySpace, and other social network followers and friends.

• Tell your story
Contact Operation Welcome Home and tell us how the program has helped

Donate money to VetFund, a nonprofit foundation that helps Operation
Welcome Home serve California veterans.
